Our Fall recycling event will be Saturday, October 18, from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the TriMet lot on Laurelwood. The following items may be recycled/accepted at the event:

• Just Porch It for usable and non-usable textiles

• Community Warehouse for dignity worthy household goods

• SBC Recycling for e-cycling and batteries (for a fee)

• The Book Corner for books and media

• NIKE Grind to Zero for used/non-usable athletic shoes

• Fred Meyer for plastic film

• Valley Church Youth for cans and bottles

• James Recycling Depot for non-curbside plastic recycling #1, #2, #4, #5, #6, and Styrofoam (for a fee) at their location 1.5 miles East on Beaverton Hillsdale Highway

• Clothes for Kids (Beaverton Clothes Closet) for dignity worthy elementary up to high school clothes

• Nonperishable food for St. Matthew’s Food Pantry

• SCRAP Creative Reuse for items that can be used in arts and crafts

• Second Hand Pet Supply for gently used and new pet supplies
